• Not attractive to deer
• Light: bright indirect light; a few hours of morning sun ideal; avoid harsh afternoon rays
• Water: allow top 1" soil to dry; sensitive to overwatering and root rot
• Humidity: prefers moderate humidity; avoid misting leaves
• Temp: 60–75°F; cold-hardy to zone 7b (unlike most Rex Begonias)
• Soil: well-draining, lightweight potting mix with peat + perlite
