• Patented hybrid by Robert H. McColley; bred for color, form, and disease resistance
• New leaves emerge bright cinnamon-red → chestnut red → mature dark green
• Self-heading (no climbing); compact 1–3 ft bush habit
• Oval heart-shaped leaves ~15" long; more oval than Prince of Orange
• More disease/pest-resistant than similar Philodendron hybrids
• Light: bright indirect light; east or west-facing window; avoid direct south sun
• Water: allow top inch to dry; dislikes wet, dry, mucky, or sandy soil
• Soil: well-drained but moist organic mix; fertilize sparingly 6" from base
• Temp: 65–85°F; protect from drafts and cold
• Humidity: tolerates typical household humidity; higher preferred
• Toxic to pets and children if ingested
